Suite 8 ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Score Keeper mobile application (the "App"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name and email address (via email/password sign-up or Google Sign-In).
• Player names: Names you enter when setting up a game session. These are stored locally on your device and, for Premium users, synced to your account.
• Game data: Scores, game history, and favourited games you record within the App.

Information collected automatically

• Crash reports: If the App crashes, we collect device information and a stack trace via Sentry to help diagnose and fix bugs. This does not include personally identifiable information.
• Usage analytics: We collect anonymised usage events (which screens you visit, which features you use) via PostHog to understand how people use the App and improve it. Analytics are disabled in development builds.
• Advertising identifiers: If you use the free tier, Google AdMob may collect your advertising ID to serve contextually relevant ads. You can reset or opt out of personalised ads in your device settings.

• To provide and operate the App
• To save and sync your game history and player list across devices (Premium accounts)

• To understand feature usage and improve the App
• To serve non-personalised or personalised ads on the free tier

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Retention

• Guest users: No data is stored on our servers. All game data is held in device memory only and lost when the app closes.
• Free accounts: Account information and settings retained until account deletion.
• Premium accounts: Game history and player list retained until account deletion.

5. Your Rights and Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the App:

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your Firebase authentication record
• All game history stored in your account
• Your saved player list
• All other data associated with your account on our servers

This action is irreversible. Local data on your device (cached game state) is also cleared.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, you have additional rights under GDPR / UK GDPR, including the right to access, rectify, or port your personal data. Contact us at suite8apps@gmail.com to exercise these rights.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at suite8apps@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit (via Firebase and Google APIs) and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
